Audio and Radio
I've had the incredible opportunity over the years to be a part of many great audio and radio projects. Some of them were small hobby projects and others were broadcast on a national level. The "Mixed Lolly Bag" and the "Atomic Countdown" during my time managed to win an award for a piece in the annual SCMA awards in 2020 and 2019 respectively.

The Mixed Lolly Bag was one of the original radio projects that I was involved in. The show was as the name suggests a "mixed bag" and featured a large array of guests including internationally recognized musicians such as 2016 Australian Eurovision contestant Dami Im and Canadian singer-songwriter Wendy Mathews. We even managed to get the guy who wrote the song "I'm a Bloke". My involvement spanned from 2017 through to 2021.
The show went through multiple phases and managed to pick up an SCMA award for "best interview" in 2020. Originally produced and distributed on 107.3 2REM in Albury, the show eventually moved into the Atomic Music Australia studio where it was then networked across its vast digital radio and partnered FM stations.

Southern Cross Austero (SCA) - Albury Market (105.7 Triple M + 104.7 Hit FM)
In 2018 I was accepted into Southern Cross Austero's (SCA) "Tallent Bootcamp" held in Albury that year. After that weekend, I was offered a role within the Albury market and began working between the promotion, content, technical and production teams producing, voicing and delivering multiple promotional campaigns, outside broadcasts and giveaways across the border region.

After the Covid-19 pandemic work had slowed and I made the decision to attend the Univerisity of Canberra and complete a degree in media and communications to upskill, network further afield and in the hope of picking up more permanent work within the media and broadcasting industry.

The Atomic Countdown.
The Atomic Countdown was Atomic Music Australia's "flagship" program and featured rural, regional and remote-based unsigned artists who were utilizing Atomic's music streaming platform. The show was produced weekly and featured the top 20 tracks of the week based on votes, listens and song interactions on Atomic's various platforms.
This was worked out by an advanced algorithm code that spat out the top 20 charts. I voiced the program from 2018-2021 and was at the helm when it won its first (and to date only) national radio award for "best music program" in 2019.
Once a year we would also produce a top 100 of the year which would be a 8 hour live program on Atomic Radio Australia.
Originally produced in a shed in Walla Walla NSW, the Atomic countdown can now be heard Australia-wide on Atomic Radio Australia and their partnered local FM stations.
Producer: Max Bruckmann (2017 - Present)
